Hope and Heritage: Saving Children’s Lives from St. Jude to Beirut

This webinar highlighted endeavors taken to save the lives of children with cancer both in the United States and Lebanon. 100% of the donations went to the St. Jude Hope and Heritage Foundation.

We were honored to have the esteemed guest speakers:
- George Jalinos, Founding Member of the St. Jude Hope and Heritage Gala
- Elise Merhige, St. Jude Hope and Heritage Gala Event Chair
- Dr. Raya Saab, Pediatric Oncology Section Chief, Stanford Children's Hospital, former St. Jude Children's Hospital Pediatric Oncology Fellow
- Dr. Georgina Aoun, President of the US Chapter of the International Lebanese Medical Association (ILMA)
- Marc Ayoub, Co-founder of Heal Beirut

The St. Jude Hope and Heritage Gala honors the inspiring legacy of Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and celebrates his Middle Eastern heritage. Danny founded ALSAC (American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities) in 1957 as the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The generous contributions of the Middle Eastern community, both then and now, have been integral to fulfilling Danny’s vision that “no child should die in the dawn of life.”
